Worked fine until I installed the latest crossover version(i.e. 15.0)... After updating to Crossover 15.0, this game just refuses to launch. :( When I click the play button, it tries to install DX and VC Redist and then nothing happens. Tried verifying game files but didn't work. Running OSX El Capitan with Intel Iris Pro 6100.
I also have the exact same issue. It ran perfectly fine until I installed Crossover 15. I am running Crossover 15.0.1 and the problem persisted. I have a Macbook Pro Retina 15 inch with a Geforce 750m graphics card. I also get the same downloading window; DX and VC Redist. After that, the game closes and nothing happens.
Well. I recently found a workaround. If the game doesn't run, in your Steam library, Right Click -> Browse Files ->Double Click AoK_HD.exe. It should work fine.
