The game runs on my mac under cxg 9.0, but even on the lowest settings the framerate is only about 4 fps. That makes the game basically unplayable. The game also usually crashes whenever I alter the graphics settings.
The patcher initially shows a blank window, but you can force the window to refresh its contents by covering it with another window (eg. by switching to another application) and then uncovering it or moving it off the edge of the screen and back on.
I can't even get the patcher to work. It shows up with a blank black window. And the trick to get the window to refresh doesn't work (plus I can't move the window either. It could have something to do with my ATI video card (I did have desktop effects turned on). So I can't even get it to patch.
My system is Ubuntu 10.04 btw.
I can't get the game to work on my Mac Pro. It started the updater ok, now the screen looks like its fell into a paint pixelator. so I dont know if its updating at all.
Installed the patcher on a steam bottle and got it to work. No black window. However it does do some weird stuff when desktop special effects are turned on. If they are the window can't be moved. If you try it vibrates and stays put.
