DOES NOT CURRENTLY WORK!
It will install all the way IF you use Win2000 or WinXP compatibility option, (not with default Win98), but will not run. Exits on start with error saying Win2k/XP required to run app.

Honestly, I think this problem has a lot more to do with my unwillingness to hack into CodeWeavers config files, and get Adobe to think it is actually in Win2k. If you can do it for the installation, then doing it at program run time shouldn't be beyond reach.
Photoshop just gets all fizzy when it can't find theings where it expects them to be (in Win2k, the directory structure is fairly different than previous Windows versions.)
Beyond this, I can probably get it to run, but likely not immediately at silver level, which 7.0 does quite well. so I muddle along with 7.0, which actaully isn't too shabby itself.
Eric
I installed Photoshop CS as Win2k and have added the lines to my conf files to set the version to win2k when it runs. I got it to start running and open the "big window" and the splash screen. The usual text flew past on the bottom of the splash, then it hung. The borderless window for the splash screen and the "big window" are still there but the splash is longer updating. So if you move a terminal window or something else (we'll call it window2) in front of the splash window and then minimize it, the image of window2 is still left on the splash window. If you drag it across you get what looks like cascading window2's.
I guess I'll stick with 7 as well until I hear of a workaround.
Hi,
I'm new here and I'm trying to create a Design through Photoshop CS .
I wanted to take the "White Castle" logo and replace the words with something else
but it seems difficult. Does anyone know the technique on how to do this?
