To get this version (CS4) of Photoshop to install, you have to do so using the 1.1.17 version of wine. I made a bottle in cxoffice named CS4 and used winetricks to include some of the dependencies. I did this by downloading that version of wint and using it instead of cxpro's version of it running commands similar to...
env WINEPREFIX="~/.cxoffice/CS4" sh ~/winetricks msxml6 gdiplus gecko vcrun2005sp1 ie6 colorprofile fontsmooth-rgb atmlib allfonts tahoma fixfonts winxp
env WINEPREFIX="~/.cxoffice/CS4" ~/wine-1.1.17/wine "~/Adobe CS4/Setup.exe"
You can get the 1.1.17 version of wine from their sourceforge page, and winetricks from DanKegel's website
After the installation goes well, when I tried to run it using that 1.1.17 version, it didn't work, so I used cxoffice's run command to run C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS4\Photoshop.exe and everything seems to run quite well. The only things I ran into is that the Text Tool does not work at all, as soon as you click on it the Photoshop program freezes, and you have to set the Software Rendering option in Bridge CS4's Preferences for it to function correctly. Everything else I tried worked like a champ.
