"The problems stopping Wine from working with later versions are with the Wine developers. Just pay them to work on it and they will. (they have our phone numbers)
The CS2 suite has the most pledges, but not the most votes on the codeweavers site. And I suspect that the pledges are still short of the cost of updating Wine to work with CS2. (although they should combine the point products with the suite votes and pledges, and CS1 support should be assigned to CS2 - then it might be doable)."

I would love to see this progress, since I have been waiting for a very long time for Photoshop CS/CS2 support.
You should really combine the funds donated from all previous versions of photoshop into the total for CS2, and talk to adobe to get the problem fixed already. It sounds like they are willing to help
