Illustrator 10 running

Hi,

I just started running Illustrator 10 under Crossover Office. Besides the fonts being ugly it seems to be working fine. I don't have the black icon problems reported previously. Everything just seems to work, although I haven't really pushed it. Hooray!

I suggest that this product might be worthy of a Bronze award with relatively little effort from Codeweavers. At the very least it deserved "Honorable Mention".

Cheers,

-k

Some days after my initial report regarding black icons, I installed Illustrator on my linux box at home -- and on that box it runs fine -- no black icons. Both the work machine and the home machine are running
SuSE 7.3 with CrossOver Office 2.1 on them. Although the machines are
not identical, I would assume that the CrossOver installations are nearly
identical.

I once previously also installed Illustrator on a SuSE 9.0 machine with CX 2.1 and also encountered the black icons. So, when I saw
no problem with the icons on my older SuSE box at home, I was surprised!

So, I still don't know what the issue with black icons is, but have heard that some other applications also suffer from this phenomenon. Once this is solved by Jeremy et al., then I believe that Illustrator may be ready to roll.

I agree with Karl that it appears very little additional effort will be needed to get this important app to run very nicely.

It's ok to me too... no black icons, no other problems... only a little slow , but it's because of my old athlon 750... 😉

So, good work guys... I support the idea to push it in bronze award listing... it's really working fine, at least as good as photoshop 7...

ciao,
Paolo
