Unable to install

The application has an entry in "availible applications" in crossover however I am unable to install it. The .NET files and fonts are installing just fine, but when it is time to install adobe digital editions itself there is an error prompt saying that Adobe digital editions is already running. Installing 1.7.x is an option allthough it doesn't have support for newer ebook releases it seems.
