Works, but has several problems

Acrobat Pro 8.1 installs and runs under CrossOver Linux 7.0.0, in an winxp bottle after a forced-install of MSIE6.
Several problems are visible:

  • The items in the "File" menu sometimes disappear
  • "File -> Save As" crashes (but "File -> Save" does work, when there's a change to save.)
  • Rendering artifacts: pull-down menus are sometimes remain rendered in the content area after you close them.
  • On startup, there's an error message popup title "Microsoft Internet Explorer", saying
"Cannot find '%.1023ws. Make sure the path or Internet address is correct.

Other than that, basic functionality such as document annotation works nicely.

What do you mean by "forced-install of MSIE6" ? I tried Acrobat 8 (not 8.1) with CrossOver Linux 7.0.0 Demo, after installing Internet Explorer 6.0 in an XP bottle. I got nowhere. A dialog flashed on the screen for less than a second and it ended.
