ACT! 2000 Forum

Hi,
since porting to codeweaver 2.1.0 there are some strange errors appear in ACT. Some groups appear empty when accessed via CW, that have entries in them when using native windows.

There are also loops with 100% CPU sometimes when synchronizing.

Another problem, which was apparent with previous versions of CW, are crashes when reporting. The same report can be be exported from windows. The problem is certainly due to ACT bugs as it seems to come mainly after accessing the tasks page, etc.

Anybody come across these errors?

I've had a number of problems running ACT as well (and I cast my vote to get it running.) See ticket 38559.

I'm looking at trying to determine which windows DLL's to copy over.

I have had a lot of luck with this recently under 3.0

I'm glad to hear that someone is having errors, while I have not even been able to install ACT! with Crossover. The install shield keeps telling me that I need Internet Explorer in order to install ACT! So, I installed IE, and the shield still can't see it. Can someone help me?
P.S. ACT! and FinalDraft are the 2 only apps holding me back with Windows... the sooner I can port these 2 apps to Ubuntu I will never use Windows again.

I'm having exactly the same problem as the previous poster, having just downloaded the trail version.

Does anyone have a solution?
