The Steam Deck
Provided By: General Consensus at CodeWeavers

SteamDeck

All-in-one portable PC gaming. Steam Deck brings the Steam games and features you love to a powerful and convenient form factor that you can take wherever you go. The console uses a variation of the Linux operating system instead of Windows, running games through a compatability layer called Proton (virtual bow). Unlike PlayStations and Nintendos that can play games stored on discs and cartridges, the Steam Deck is fully digital, meaning it only plays games downloaded over the internet.

The Elgato Stream Deck MK.2
Provided By: General Consensus at CodeWeavers

Stream Deck

The Elgato Stream Deck MK.2 is basically just a fancy hotkey screen. But it can have folders in it that makes it a bit more versatile then just a separate keyboard for hotkeys. Plus, it has screens to indicate which hotkey does what. We like screens, we have lots of visual people here. Not to be confused with the SteamDeck.

Weighted Blanket — We don’t have a specific make and model in mind
Provided By: General Consensus at CodeWeavers

The most important thing to keep in mind when shopping for a weighted blanket is, well, weight. If you're an adult, make sure you choose a blanket that is 10 percent of your body weight. If you're shopping for a child, it's recommended to find a weighted blanket that is 10 percent of their body weight, plus one to two pounds.

Yeti Hopper® — Backpack Cooler
Provided by: Jana

Say good-bye to the days of carrying just a few six-packs (or sodas). We want to load up more and go to places where a cooling box can be impractical. We want to be able to traverse the wilderness and have our cold ones. Fits up to 32 cans, or 22 pounds of ice and is wine bottle compatible.

Getfu Vegetable Slicer
Provided by: Rèmi

vegetable slicer

Smooth and wavy vegetable slices or julienne vegetable strands are ready in a jiffy! Pro tip: Include a box of bandages with this gift. One of our staff members learned the hard way that thumbs are not vegetables.

Portable Neck Fan
By: Gabriel

In the Southern Hemisphere right now it’s summer AND hot. Unlike fans without arms (also called "bladeless"), the blowing direction is completely adjustable and flexible, can easily shape the arms to blow wherever you want it to. It sits on your neck, so it's portable if you have to move around.

It's relatively cheap, easy to charge with USB-C charging cable, has soft brown-ish noise from the fans (not annoying buzzing sounds), and lasts quite a while on a charge (many hours!).

The problem with Steam Deck is that Valve doesn't seem to be willing to put any pressure on developers to support it. They don't even punish studios who actively sabotage their efforts. Yes, I'm looking at you, Bungie. Bungie is open about the fact, that they are going to ban every player who manages to get their games running on any non-windows operating system, and Valve seems to be okay with that. Steam Deck just doesn't seem to be important enough to them, much like the Steam Machine, which they gave up after the first half-hearted prototypes.

Giveaway of any of these gifts for crossover users/purchases? 🫢

Not this year, but great idea if we make a tradition!
