[+] cxdiag doesn't show much:

Since development for FGLRX is slowing down on the Linux side (and moving to AMDGPU), support for newer Kernels in Fedora is falling off. FGLRX fails to use the 32-bit libraries for CX support. Anything 64-bit runs fine (Phoronix test suite, Quake 4, etc.).
I have moved to OpenSUSE Leap 42.1 where library support is much more clean, and then entire installation process is very smooth. OpenSUSE has a dedicated developer who maintains support for the driver. See my guide here:
