Trying to install anything always fails. No UI is ever created for any installer. In the log files I can find this Unhandled page fault on read access to 0x00000004 at address 0x7e9d4dde

Can you add which version of crossover and which linux OS you are running.
Those requested infos is vital - that said - I had the exact same problem.
I boils down to the freetype2 lib versions > 2.8
