I have internode as my provider. They have unmetered downloads for steam content, I just got recently capped because I downloaded like 5 games from steam even though its ment to be unmetered. I then saw in fine print that the steam content provide can change without prior notice. Basically I was downloading the games from some Malaysian steam content provider instead of Internode. I then researched some pc applications that can restrict ips for steam. Do mac have any programs like this or can I run any pc ones via crossover? Thankyou Sam
You'll need to know the correct IP addresses, etc. to configure or allow/deny for this to work or just have it allow/deny manually as you connect as it'll see all of the inbound/outbound network activity.
I'm not sure how it appears with Crossover but I assume it should work as well.
