I'm using Crossover Steam for Fate/Samurai Remnant. After some fiddling I got the game to open, and it takes me the opening screen with new game, options, etc. But when I click "new game" it says "the game has encountered a serious problem and needs to close."
I haven't found any solution that works. Steam store and library work fine so that isn't it. No idea if this has any significance, but the shortcut to the game in Crossover home screen opens up to the Japanese version while opening in Steam library is English.
I have not yet tried reinstalling the game because my internet download speed is garbage and it would take forever.

i have the same problem
i off d3dmetal option(gptk) and turn on dxvk
it works. but Unfortunately I can't see the monster and the sword. I hope it helps
