I'm running Crossover v22.0.1 on a Mac (Ventura 13.4.1, Intel, Macbook Pro 13" Mid-2020), and recently, one of my bottles has been stuck in state "Status: Scanning..." for a very long time. Restarting Crossover and the computer do not help.
None of the Advanced Settings toggles are available, and the Control Panel and Bottle Details are empty.
If I try to run the installed App, it shows the icon on the dock and then immediately disappears (the app is Quicken). I don't see any files in the bottle directory that are getting updates that might indicate what it's started to do and failed.
I wonder if this is related to the problems many of us have been having with the latest version of Quicken wanting to install Webviewer 2. What version of Quicken do you have?
On the same crossover window, I have 2 bottles. 1 with windows 11 presets doesn’t launch (same issue as you) and the second with windows 10 presets and this one launch.
I tried to change the windows 11’s to windows 10 but doesn’t launch by the way.
So I don’t think the windows version is a problem..
Try the latest version of Crossover which is 22.1.1 and then delete your bottle and reinstall your application into a new bottle.
The releases of Crossover from 22.0.1 to 22.1.1 have addressed issues with the various point releases of Ventura. So the first thing to try is to use the latest retail version of Crossover in place of your older version.

I can't tell, because I can't launch Quicken in this bottle :-)
FWIW, though, I was able to get around the Webview2 problem with a fresh install into a W7 bottle (the default is W10 now) and without enabling high resolution mode. I was able to upgrade to R50.16 without any issues.
I'm still curious what the issue with the old bottle is, though, even though I no longer need it...

If I had a license, I would :-)
I was able to resolve it with a new bottle; I'm just wondering what happened to this one.
I've trying with Crossover 22.1.1 and well as newest nightly build (crossover-2320230707-unstripped.zip) both shows "Scanning".
Only one thing works for me: Archive the bootle, delete the original one and restore from archive.

In CrossOver 23.0, it happens to me.
Due to this endless scanning, my apps (like Steam) does not open.
I also tried: Archiving the bottle -> Deleting the bottole -> Opening the archive, but it cannot help me.
