"Adding a firewall rule failed" - error message...
  • macOS 14.6.1 Sonoma
  • Crossover 24.0.5
  • .NET - installed from dotnet-sdk-6.0.425-win-arm64.exe uisng Windows 11 bottle
  • Delphi 12 Athens Community Edition - installed from RADStudio_12_1_esd_61_7529b.exe

I've installed the full .NET SDK framework, although I had to copy regasm.exe from the v2.0.50727 folder to the v4.0.30319 folder to get rid of the assembly registration errors. But now I am left with a situation where I am getting the message Adding a firewall rule failed. I am assuming that this firewall failure gives rise to the subsequent error where the main executable for Delphi 12 Athens Community Edition, namely bds.exe is not installed causing the error There is no Windows program configured to open this type of file.

Can any one help?
