Hey everyone,
I installed Diablo IV using the automated install and I chose CrossOver to download the installer. Everything seems to work, but the install progress bar won't seem to finish. So, after battle.net is installed and I quit it, I have to cancel the installation in CrossOver. I can start battle.net then, but this leaves a nagging feeling. Anyone has an explanation for this?
Btw.: Is there a difference between choosing installing Diablo IV or Battle.net?
just for reference I recently installed crossover and installed diablo iv using the install diablo iv option and ran into the same exact issue. The battle net install finished then the diablo iv install finished within and there was nothing more to do, yet crossover did not recognize it had completed and I had no idea what to do. I had to quit the install but it seems to work, however I do have performance issues where the game is very laggy and stutters a lot, it's pretty unplayable when doing anything other than walking around, manipulating items from the stash and selling stuff, any action lags like crazy. I'm running on Apple M2 Max, however I am running Sequoia 15.1 Beta 3 (beta 2 when I did the install), so perhaps the beta os has something to do with it, dunno.
I LOVE this game and play hours daily. My settings for the bottle make all the difference with out them turned on the problems I experienced are the exact same as yours.
MB Pro Max M3
Bottle Settings:
D3DMetal - On
ESync - On
Game plays as good as it did on an alienware I just sold. Hope this helps!
