Maybe there is a way to activate anti-aliasing? I don't know if you have to do it on your system, or within your apps. Or maybe it is possible to activate it in Crossover/wine? I use KDE and there are separate configurations for anti-aliasing for KDE and Gnome apps, if I'm not mistaken. Also maybe there is some configuration for your video card... Good luck!
