Hello,
I have a quite complex app written in LabView that I intially got running under Crossover under Ubuntu 22.04.3.
The app needs .NET 2.0 and 3.5.
I am running Ubuntu in a VMWare Workstation 16.1.
I messed up something (novice Linux user and new to Crossover).
I deleted the VM, installed Ubuntu & crossover again.
This time i did not succeed installing .NET the way I did on the previous setup. (Used install unlisted application ).
I instead used Install a Windows App, and suceeded installing .NET 3.5x and 2.x.
However now my app crashed with an exception after startup.
I thus tried to uninstall some .NET versions.
I then get the message "You must use Turn Windows features on or off" in the Control Panel to configure .....
The command "optionalfeatures" on the windows Command Line opens a GUI to enable / disable features
I tried to run this command using "Run Command" in crossover, but it does not work...
But where do I find this Control Panel under Crossover? I can't find it!
Pleas Help !
I suggest you backup whatever data you have in the bottle, then erase it, create a new one and star over, fist installing .NET versions you need. They are available in Crossover, just type install and search for ".NET" in the searchbox. 2.0 have a 5 star version and 3.5 have a SP version with 5 star (not sure if you can install SP without the original 3.5...), too. After that, install LabView, all in the same bottle.
As far as I can remember, you can choose the bottle name when installing any application, including .NET.
