First off I know this isn't a "Supported" game, but I'd like to report it anyways as it seems the rest of the game is fine. The text in the game and on the menus seems to be bolded and it all black, this makes the game difficult to play due to the game having lots of colored text indicating items and such and sometimes the black text is barely readable if at all. I would appreciate it if anyone told me some fix, I would put this in the support ticket system but it says I have not bought the programs.
Ok...if the support ticket system said you couldn't access it, that
usually means that your crossover license period has expired - you would
need purchase a new license from codeweavers to address that issue. If
this is so, then the next question is which version of crossover are you
using, closely followed by which platform/OS version and what video hardware
(or drivers) you are using....all the usual candidates...however...
...is this a new title of sorts? If so...checking over at wineHQ says this;
Now...granted that's the beta, but more importantly it received a good ranking
there based on wine-1.1.44 ; crossover-games 8.x.x releases were based on the
wine-1.1.24 or so engine -- the newer CXG-9.0 release is based on wine-1.1.42
-- if you haven't already tried CXG-9.0 try the demo version -- if you have
done this and it's still all garbled, perhaps the answer is in the other details
of your setup you've yet to mention...
I'm currently using Crossover 7.2, which is probably the problem, haha.
