just wondering if it's possible to input Chinese into Crossover IE. I have something called global IME in my crossover, and it says Chinese but i dont know if it works...nothing seems to happen when i open it. I dont even recall when that was set up, I only recall setting up IE. Is there some specific way choosing what input methods and languages are available for your various Crossover apps?
Yes, you should be able to input Chinese into CrossOver. You use the Mac input methods. So basically you would input Chinese into Crossover the same way you would input Chinese into Text Pad or any native mac application.
I find the easiest way is to open the internationalization control panel and the last tab is input methods. You can then pick there what you want to have available. Then you can have it displayed in your task bar and switch your input there.
