I am having a great deal of trouble visiting an ActiveX webcam from my computer.
(the camera is mine, a IP camera)
Turns out that ActiveX Is not supported on Mac at all (brilliant, microsoft)
I have been trying to install IE6 on my xp bottle as well as the ActiveX components.
Unfortunately, the closest I have gotten was an active working IE that would Crash every time it went to the cameras page.
Anyone have any experience or insight as to how I can solve this frustrating issue?
ActiveX in IE6 in Crossover is totally hit-or-miss, with most being a miss. The lame part is if it doesn't work there isn't really anything else to try, it just isn't going to work and you'll need to go for full emulation of Windows.
