installing IE7.0 or IE8 - Need help!!

Hi, I'm trying to install this software, but I get this message:
image
(X11 window: translation: this installation isn't compatible with your OS's current language)

can I do?

My system: OSX 10.6.3, CrossOver Pro 9.0.1

I have already installed the IE5, but it su**s! Also, when I tried a secure web page, it says that "the system has detected many open windows of this program; it's blocked for your security until you left only one page opened", but I have only one page (or window - IE5) opened! Again, what can I do?

That's Spanish, correct? CrossOver knows how to download several different languages of IE7. You may need to pick the Spanish version from the available downloads.

Thanks, Ken.
Yes, it's Spanish. I apologize for not declared it!
But, I had to download the .exe file from the website, because CrossOver didn't download the correct version (for me).

I wonder if you could help me with the other question: in a secure web page, when I try to login, it opens a new window, but there's this message (posted before!) and this new webpage closes by itself. Therefore, I can't login and do my work. The webpage is only available for IE (apparently under winxp/vista/7). The webpage is: www.e-dentalsys.com, and the country, Chile.

Thanks
Fernando

When I tell CrossOver to download the Spanish IE7 installer, it pulls down IE7-WindowsXP-x86-esn.exe. It's the same file you get from here.

Unfortunately, it seems that CrossOver is limited in its support for Spanish-language locales. There are two parts to Mac OS X's support for languages and locales. There's the high-level frameworks and then there's the low-level Unix parts of the OS. Wine, the technology on which CrossOver is based, works at the low level. At that level, only those languages and locales for which there are support files in /usr/share/locale are supported. Unfortunately, the only Spanish-language locale supported is es_ES, which is to say Spain.

If you go into System Preferences > Language & Text (formerly International) > Formats and select España as the Region, then the IE7 installer won't complain. I realize that's far from ideal. Sorry.

As to your other question, I'm afraid I don't know about that. I recommend that you open a support ticket or email info@codeweavers.com.
