Recently I switched my monitor to a tv that supports 640x480, 800x600 and 1024x768. I'm using 1024x768 as desktop resolution, however, Crossover Games only detects 640x480, 800x600 and 1024x746 as available resolutions. So I'm not able to go true fullscreen 1024x768 in Crossover Games after switching monitor - i can only do the pseudo fullscreen with the 22 pixels at the top of the screen for the menubar.
Before the switch I used a plasma tv with a customized resolution of 1226x682 and that worked perfectly - somehow this problem started after switching to a new display.
Any ideas on how to solve this?
Edit:
This is my setup:
Crossover Games 9.1 for Mac
Snow Leopard 10.6.4
And I'm using a 2009 model Mac Mini with an NVIDA GeForce 9400M videocard.
For anyone to be able to help you with an issue like this,
you will probably need to tell use what platform/OS{version}
you are using, and what videocard your setup has. It may be also
to mention exactly which version of crossover you are using as
well...
Thank you for the tip with Switch Res X, It's bound to be quite useful.
