Hi, I already installed Steam from Crossover. What’s the best way to install Witcher 3 ?
- install it from Steam ?
- use the “installer” function from Crossover? And if so, should I create a new bottle ?
Thank you for your help!

Don't install it from a Steam installation in an already-existing bottle. Every Windows application should have its own bottle because different Windows applications require different bottle components or settings to work correctly. The only exception is when Application A is dependent on Application B, as is the case with anything you are going to run from Steam; and so each bottle for a Steam game will have both the Steam client application and that one game installed into it.
Just click INSTALL AN APPLICATION near the bottom-left of the Crossover window and type "The Witcher 3" into the search field, then follow the prompts – the installation will be almost fully automated and require very little input from you.
thank you for your help !
