Can somebody post a detailed installation procedure for this platform for the demo *.deb file?
I tried an install with the Ubuntu Archive Manager and the Ubuntu GDEBI Installer with the following file downloaded from Codeweavers "Try" section:
"ia32-crossover-standard-demo_7.0.2-1_amd64.deb"
(Yes - I checked to make sure I had the ia32-libs. And I only intend to run 32-bit Windows applications on this platform.)
Nothing happens when I "Install Package" and I can't find where the files are going.
Tried the demo 32-bit version on an old 32-bit platform. Compatibility was acceptable but I didn't go with the software on that platform as the machine was too underpowered to be productive. However, now I have an Intel 8400 workstation Duo Core and the speed is amazingly better.
Would like to demo this thing but I can't get it set-up. Install was easy on old underpowered 32-bit Ubuntu but the machine was too slow. Now I have fast machine but can't figure out the 64-bit platform install of CrossOver Linux demo.
Sincerely,
CJ
