Just installed CX Pro on Fedora 9. It seems, though, that I have no sound (for example youtube or any other flash video). I went into winecfg for the bottle and tried turning alsa off and selecting oss but it still didn't work. I tried with and without driver emulation clicked. No sound at all.
I assume this has something to with pulseaudio? But does anyone know a fix?
Interesting that this is coming up more and more. Do you have the ability to submit a support ticket? If so, submit a ticket and reference bug 4409 in the text section of the ticket. If not, do the same in an email to info@codeweavers.com, requesting the ticket be assigned to me, and I will make certain that we get more information to you regarding this issue.
Your patched version of 7.0.2 did fix the sound problems on F9. But, apparently these changes did not make it into version 7.1.0 that was released yesterday because sound is again not working... Can you release a patched version of cx-pro 7.1.0?
In case anyone else has the same problem. I got the following reply from carol at my bug report:
"Unfortunately the patches did not make it into the 7.1 version. They will be in the next release of CrossOver but needed a bit more testing before they could be included. My apologies for this."
So, hopefully it will be fixed soon.
