Does one have to purchase BOTH to be able to both play Windows-based games as well as use Windows applications? OR, does one have to purchase the CrossOver Pro to do that? :/
I don't want to buy one only to find out that I should have purchased the other...
If you're just going to play games and only games you can just get cx games. Some apps do run on cx games, but it's kind of a try and see and you get no support. You can try downloading the demo.
However, CX pro is the best deal because you can renew it each year for less than buying a new version would be after a year.
I have CX pro and hardly use cx Linux mostly I use cxgames.
