Outlook 2007 causing high CPU

I'm running Crossover 7.1.0 on Ubuntu 8.04. I'm only using it for M$ Office 2007 + Visio 2003 right now, and everything seems to work just fine except that when I have Outlook 07 open my CPU jumps by at least 30% and doesn't go down until I shut Outlook. My buddy who directed me to Crossover is also running Ubuntu, not sure his versions of Ubuntu/Crossover, but he has never had this problem. Is there some sort of backend process I can go clobber to bring this down?

So tell us, why are you using 8.04?

If you have use new hardware, you should always go with the latest stable release of Ubuntu.

I myself have never used Hardy because I know people who always complained about it's internet problems, firefox preventing to start and other things. When they upgraded to Intrepid: "poof!", problems disappeared :).

So even though Hardy Heron is now on 8.04.2, you should still use Intrepid and soon Jaunty (Ubuntu community's developement is improving issues in Ubuntu sound, hardware and so on. You can't access those improvements in Hardy).

That's what's your problem.
