Currently using Ubuntu 9.04 on a dual boot laptop ( Dell 1520) I have followed all the instructions on how to install it but I get no wheres... please give me instructions on how to install this....noobie here.

On ubuntu 9.04 you should be able to just double-click on the crossover.deb
file, which should start up your package manager, which should get the job done.
If it's 64bit ubuntu, you'll need the ia32-libs packages installed (best idea
is to use your package manager to install wine, which will install the needed
libraries...then go back and install crossover.)
it wasn;t a .deb file... anyhoo I figured it out, and it is working........thanks !
