downloaded the crossover .deb package, installed it....... and? what now? there is no menu item for crossover, trying 'crossover' from terminal says
"bash: /snap/bin/crossover: No such file or directory"
now what?

Could you send some screenshots? I don't really understand what you mean
screenshots of something not existing?
Ok, here is a shot of my 'Show Applications', notice how there's no Crossover in it...
As a mac user, I'm not too sure in that case

OK, PopOS is Ubuntu based so this seems correct. Did you install it through dpkg command or by double-clicking the file?

Never used PopOS, but considering the screenshot you sent, maybe it could be inside the other folders, like "Office", "System" and "Utilities" shown in the bottom? Another try is to use the "search" function in the top.
