How to view the archive files despite app not working.
This is on 64 bit Linux. However, it should be applicable to Mac as well.
Although this application is currently not working due to a requirement that Shockwave be installed, one can install the application. When one does so, then the resources are availble and can be viewed with any standard PDF file viewer. On a Linux installation, one can look in the user's home directory for .cxoffice/Threads/drive_c/Program Files/Taunton/Threads Archive/data-thr/Issues where PDF files of the resources are located. If one so wishes, one can look in the Thumbnails folder for thumbnail images of every page also.
The only thing one lacks by doing this is the navigation and printing interface provided by the application. However, if one is looking for a specific issue's information, then this may be easier.
