Actually my computer runs quite cool (fan's practically idle), but I play on max "standard" graphics, not improved. So that could be it.
World of Tanks is a pretty demanding game, so the fans spinning up to the maximum power is expected. If you want to avoid this you can lower the graphics settings (disable advanced graphics) and enable vsync to throttle the game to a maximum of 60 frames per second.
