Ever since the introduction of ‘Steel Hunter’ I can no longer enter a standard platoon battle without the game crushing & then getting logged out.. so frustrating & no help anywhere.
This same issue has been reported by other players on the WOT Mac forum also
Exactly the same issue here - freezing and logging out when playing in platoon. Please help.
I'm running MacBook Pro on M1 Max and Ventura Version 13.1 (22C65)
The same issue. It began 2-3 weeks ago. When entering the battle - 30 secs lag appears, and after the client disconnects from the server. Only when in the platoon. M1 pro, ventura 13.1.
yeah a friend of me has a mac with the same problem.
we tried to close the game before matchmaking, but that wont help ether.
Did anyone of you try without mods?
just move them to a temp folder and see if that make difference.
he is so frustrated, i cant even ask him to do that anymore.
tbh i am surprised to see the support is like this.

Again!! As soon as 'Steel Hunter' is introduced into the game I can't play in a platoon (standard battles) without it crashing, then having to wait a good few minutes for the game to allow me to enter the battle.
Which is very frustrating, especially when you get blown up sometimes before your able to finally join
Still November 23 the Problem exists.The Original Codeweaver Wrapper for WG crashes the Games in Platoons (solo games will work). I have buyed the Codeweaver and try to install WOT from there - no Chance - Wargaming Game Center will not start with the new CW - Version (25).
After so many problems with wot on mac I tried geforce now, and did not regret. Since this year august I am playing wot via GFN, ultimate membership, 4k resolution, all on ultra settings, about 250 fps, with ping between 1 and 10. Yes, it costs money each month, but I do not have to buy an expensive pc computer, and I also do not have to install anything but the geforce now app. Been on M1 Mac mini and macbook air M1,
I know this thread is over a year old, however in May of 2024, I started experiencing the same behavior. Solo play is fine, it is just when I try and platoon that I get a connection interrupted message and have to reconnect and then I can fight in the battle.
Any ideas if this was due to recent updates to WOT? Any suggestions?
