Mario Kart 8 v48 and beyond updates not being able to install

Hey yall,

I've been trying to update my Mario Kart 8 copy so I can use all the maps and DLC characters, but it doesn't allow me to install past update v32, v48 just hits me with an error saying a file is missing along with v64. I dont quite know what to do since I downloaded the files from the Wii U USB helper thing. Anyone got any tips?

idk if this is useful but my regions set to North America.
