Two Worlds currently installs fine but fails to run

with crossover games 7.0 two words currently installs fine, but fails to run:
(note, you only get this far when adding d3dx9_31.dll, X3DAudio1_1.dll and xinput1_3.dll)

then an error dialoge about not being able to init direct3d appears.
