Yeah, I concur this DirectX error. I have been able to install the game, although it did give me an error while installing, that it could not install groups.cache or something. However, the game finished installation but running it gave me the same D3D error. This was with the DVD installer...

I got the groups.cache error with the nightly, but not with the 6.0.0 beta 2. Which did you try?

I tried the 6.0.0 beta 2..

UPDATE: Strangely enough, the file WAS copied during install ... I just saw that by accident just now. Weird.
