heyo i play tf2 in a window and would like 2 know how i could make the screen resolution bigger than the given, which is a little 2 small 4 me and my phat screen

Are you using the right aspect ratio? And if you are and you can't make it bigger (that's what she said), you can just change it in the launch options (sorry, I'm not sure about the code for this, but if you want to know, I could probably figure it out).

Ryan, if you have multiple monitors, the game will only offer resolutions for your primary display (the one with the menu bar). So, if that one is small, then you may not be able to set a big window, even on your big display. A workaround is to set your big display to be your primary display.

What resolution is your "phat screen"?

if you play in windowed mode ,

Set this in the launch options

-w x -h x

where w is the width
and h is the height

and x is the variable which Cannot be bigger than your actuall screen...(acutally it can..but alot of things would be screwed up)

I always use the launch option -width x -height y

Where x is the horizontal resolution, and y is the vertical resolution.

It must be a pretty big monitor if its resolution is greater than 2560 by 1600.

If your monitor uses an unusual aspect ratio there are also commands that allow you to accommodate a wide range of unusual aspect ratios.

I find that the game does not run well and tends to get poor frame rate, It also tends to crash more often.
