im running in normal crossover pro 8 and i have some problems with steam games in general.

1. TF2 face animations do not work

2. The UBER charge just isnt right

3. Whenever i set the graphics any higher than the lowest of the low, after a while, it will lag for like 20 seconds than crash on me. :/

4. skins and custom models sometimes dont show up or they come out as materialless transparent wire models.

and how can i record my gameplay? im part of a machinima group (there leader actually) and it would help if i knew that.

You mean CrossOver GAMES? Pro includes both CrossOver and CrossOver Games with some extra features, but they're still separate programs.

Hmm, I think I remember reading something about enabling facial animations. It's either in the tips and tricks or one of these threads. And are you using dxlevel 9? If you're not sure, then you're almost definitely using 9, which looks better, but is more processor intense and can cause graphics glitches and other problems.

For recording video, I highly recommend using screentoaster.com. It's a java web app, so the fact that you're using CrossOver shouldn't matter, just keep TF2 in windowed mode. And I'm not sure how good the video quality is, but it's worth a try.
