Invisible Weapons

I was using CxG 8 with dxlevel 9 some some time, and it worked great. However, recently I started a game and half the time my weapon and my character's hand and arm would simply disappear. I could still use my weapon, but it was pretty weird. Has anyone else got this?

I have a Mac Book Pro running Mac OS 10.5.8 (Leopard).
