game works fairly smoothly on my MacBook after playing with the settings. it IS playable, and that isn't my issue.

so I got tired of using the trackpad and decided to throw my tablet into the mix because that's what I use as my mouse 90% of the time (because I usually leave my mighty mouse at home). After using the tablet and deciding crossfire doesn't know how to handle the input (mouse wouldn't stay in the screen) I tried to NOT use the tablet and found all my other pointing devices not working. Now I'm forced to use the tablet ALL the time when using crossfire (not just in game). anyone know how to reset the pointing devices to default settings in crossfire?

Huh. I don't believe that Cross[bold]Over[/bold] (😉) maintains any state about the specific input device in use. Simply quitting and restarting CrossOver should get you back to "normal".

It's possible that some Apple code has stored some information about the input device in CrossOver's preference file. You can quit CrossOver and move ~/Library/Preferences/com.codeweavers.CrossOver.plist to the trash temporarily to see if that fixes things.
