TF2 runs fine for me both windowed and fullscreen except when I play as spy. Cloaking freezes the game every time and I have to restart crossover. Has anyone else had this happen/anyone know why it might hapen? I'm using a 15"MBP with 2.4GHz processor, 2GB RAM and NVIDIA 8600 GT with 256MB VRAM. Thanks.

I've got the exact same issue, runs perfect otherwise, same system too.

The Mac Nvidia drivers have some issues with shaders. For most Source games, you have to set shader detail to low or they won't even start. However, I suspect TF2 only uses complicated shaders for this cloaking feature. Try setting shader detail to low to see if that prevents the crash.

I tried the low detail shaders and I still have the same problem.

I had this problem in Tiger but since upgrading to Leopard it's been fine. I've found the overall performance of games under Crossover has greatly improved under Leopard however when I turn the texture detail up I've found it to get a bit unstable (graphical glitches and freezing).

I'm running on a MacBook Pro 15" 2.4GHz/4GB RAM/8600 GT with 256MB.

My crossover also crashes if I cloak as spy. This is preventing me from purchasing crossover. That, and the fact that I can not get the voice to work. I need an extra microphone to make it work?

Is everybody who has experienced this crash using a MacBook Pro with Nvidia graphics?

We have one of those, but it's on the road at the moment. When it returns next week, I'll see if I can reproduce it.
