When I connect to a server that has extra files that need to be downloaded such as custom sound files, it will constantly re-download those same files when I connect back to that server again or if the server changes levels.
Anyone else noticing this problem?
happens to me as well, with some servers (keeps downloading the same sound + .vtf/.vtm files every time i connect/server changes maps). didn't think much of it, not a big deal.
would be nice if it was resolved though :)
I'm not sure what I did but its no longer downloading these extra files. But it will still show the text that it is trying to download these files when connecting to a server or a server changes levels. Not really an issue since it seems like the load time is back to where it should be at.
