i cant move the window or click on "my games", my media", etc...
when i click on my friends list, if that even works it shows up as a white window, i can still click on stuff in it but i don't know what i am pressing on.
i hav a macbook pro and running leopard. tf2 won't start either. it just goes to valve title page(in starting up) and then the screen goes blak, and then my cursor shows up like its about to start but the main menu never show up... help
If you're seeing the Valve logo movie (a guy with a plumbing fixture in his head), then some CrossOver settings for running TF2 have been lost. CrossOver Games sets the TF2 launch options to include the "-novid" switch, which skips that movie.
If you've lost that switch, then it's possible that your bottle's registry has been corrupted. On rare occasions, we've seen that happen if your Mac was powered down while Steam was still running (without a clean shutdown of Mac OS X).
My best suggestion is for you to create a new bottle and reinstall Steam and TF2. I know it's tedious, but it's the simplest and most thorough way to try to fix this.
