Hi,
Is there any way to enable FSAA? I don't get the option to do so in the options screen. I installed the game via Steam and am running it in OS X10.5.4 on a 2.6Ghz Penryn MBP.

Yes, there is. The Wine version in CrossOver supports FSAA, but it is disabled by default due to driver troubles(as usual ☹️ )
You can set the registry key HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/Wine/Direct3D/Multisampling = "enabled" . I am not sure if our X server supports Multisampling, but I'd expect it to do so.
Alternatively, if there is a driver option or tool that can force multisampling on this will work as well. Note that multisampling still has some performance issues, especially with offscreen rendering.
I'm sorry to have to ask, but isn't the registry a Windows thing? Where might I enable this setting in OS X?
Yup, the registry is a Windows thing, and consequently crossover has a registry too(because the apps need it). You can open our registry editor using programs->run command. Select the bottle, enter "regedit" (without the quotes) into the textbox and run it
Great, thanks. I now have this:
Name Type Data
Multisampling REG_SZ enabled
Is that correct?
Looks ok
