I have a 2GHz intel core2 duo, 2GB ram Version 10.4.11 OS and im trying to update the new TF2 update. everytime I go to load TF2 so i cant get the update it says my account doesnt exist then it says steam cannot process my "request" to load Tf2 or that steam is busy, then it goes back to says my account doesnt exist or my internet doesnt work..any ideas??
I am running Leopard 10.5.4 and I haven't had a problem getting and running the update. You may want to check into the possibility that a problem with your Steam account exists.
This is actually a lovely problem that happens very frequently on steam (atleast it has for me anyways).
The only way I've found to fix the problem is to deleted the ClientRegistry.blob file from your Steam directory. Sometimes you may even need to delete your local copy of TF2 and just start fresh.
Yeah I had problems when the update came around.
Just deleted that ClientRegistry.blob thing and it all works fine.
