Team Fortress 2 Running On Macbook with CS 7.2.1 installed?

I am using an Intel Macbook that was made in 2008, and when I try to run Team Fortress 2, the game crashes when loading team select.
I used to use version 7.1.0 of Cross Over Games, which worked well enough to play in maps such as 2Fort with an average of 20 fps, but that was then, and this is now.
When I upgraded to CS 7.2.1 it doesn't play TF2 at all.
The menus load fine, but the game does not start.

I know that this version is 'broken' with the GMA X3100 chipset, and I know that your developers do not have a Macbook with that chipset, so you cannot test for compatibility.
Will version 8.0 support my chipset? If not, I see no point in using Cross Over Games anymore, and I wasted my money purchasing a product from CodeWeavers.

Is there any way I CAN get Team Fortress 2 to work without crashes and a good frame rate?

Anyways, I can't make a full comment, my dinner is ready.

Bye for now!

Well,...We cant get perfect compatibility ...not at this moment at least..

Yes , intel graphic cards are underpowered when it comes to running games.

Currently for the CxG 7.2 , there are memory leaks when playing tf2 and some other issues.

Tf2 does start up for me in CxG7.2 ...but i had to lower the resolution and graphic settings.

Judging from your specs ..., it might be your graphic card that might be the issue ...i am not sure if motd rendering has anything to do with this..

But you could try installing IE 6 on to your steam bottle...
set start up launch options like -dxlevel 80 -novid and so on..

Um...one last question ...is there any error message when you cant start tf2? If not , it would be nice if you could run a debug.

Thank you
