CXGames Steam Community Group

Hey fellow Linux(and Mac) TF2 lovers. I just thought of how awesome it would be to create a CXGames Steam Community Group for all us non-windows fraggers.

I would be willing to mod the group as long as it doesn't get too big. Please respond if you like the idea. If you do like the idea please give your account name so I can add you to the group.

I like the idea. I'll nudge James, he's our main TF2 "tester"

Sweet!

So I created a Steam Group, it's url is http://steamcommunity.com/groups/TF2CXGames

It's a private group right now, I'm not sure if I should make it a public group. It would definitely be bigger but I think we would have trouble with non-crossover people coming into the group.

Another idea might be to move this thread to the Advocates only forum but that would probably keep the group REALLY small.

Please leave thoughts.

When I was playing last night I met someone who was using CXGames on MAC I talked to him a little bit, but there was no way to ask for his username without sounding like a stalker to invite him to the CXGames Steam Group. I did ask him for his username because on the "Currently Playing" on the "Add a Friend" his in-game name did not match up and he didn't have picture. But he never talked again on the text chat and left the game 5 minutes later so I don't think that's a good way to ask. So I'm leaning towards an open group.

Sounds good Scott.. Sad though in game overlay doesnt work .

hey umm mind adding me :P ?

my ign is Snowsakura

I made the group public and you can just join whenever.

If you search Crossover Games in the Steam Community you'll find it. But make sure it has the "TF2CXG" acronym.

Or you can use this url http://steamcommunity.com/groups/TF2CXGames

Kays Joined :P

Thanks Scott

Joined as well.
