Since the sniper/spy update i have played 60 hours and haven't had a single unlock. Not new or old. Im just wondering if this is because my account is just bugged or if it is the way crossover games runs steam and team fortress 2.

Help would be greatly appreciated.

The new weapon unlock is supposedly based on luck

i got a friend who afk on server for 3 days and havent got anything..

Im understand that some players are just ignored by random drops, what im asking is if it could be that the steam cloud cant send the necessary information to you because of how crossover works.

I can confirm unlocks are a-ok using crossover. I've gotten 3 bows, jarate, cloak+dagger, dead ringer, ambassador and 6 or so dupes of previous unlocks. However this is playing maybe 30 hours.

Make sure you're on a server where people are getting unlocks or achievements (if you see anyone getting either, the server is good).

There are quite a few idle servers where you can leave it in overnight and hopefully get a few unlocks.

I do believe it's all random and some people are just brutally unlucky. However 60 hours and not a single doesn't sound right.

I have played about 7 hours since the update and have recieved: Jarate, The Razorback, The Backburner (already had this), and Bonk! Atomic Punch. I would say there is probably something wrong with yours because 60 hours is ridiculous.

Yes .Steam on crossover can connect to steam cloud .

I can confirm this as l4d also accesses steam cloud to keep records of achievements.

quick Q.. are you using 7.2.x? wondering if you've had crashing issues or if it's fixed. I've been going into bootcamp to play..

as for unlocks, they did a silent update on valve server side to fix any issues w/ ppl not getting unlocks or getting too many at a time lol. that happened last night. anyway, I've gotten about 7 unlocks, but I also have been idling on some servers haha.
