just crashes

Hi there, first i want to say thanks for this wonderful sofware CrossOver Games is. Second im having some problem with my Team Fortress 2 :(
I can play the game just fine with everything on max (Core Duo, GeForce 9600 GT 512MB), speed is not a problem. It happens that about some gameplay time, the game just crashes, coming back to desktop. Is that hapenning to more users? Thanks =]

ok.. i assume you are using mac?

Try running at -dxlevel 81 or try to force a resoultion with a windowed mode..like with ..-sw -h -w

where -h is height of screen followed by the dimensions...and -w is width..followed by your screen dimensions

Or you could run a debug and see whats going on =)

Personally ,TF2 maxes my 1 gig ram...>.<

Okay i waas already running it with dxlevel 81, also im not on a mac but in a Ubuntu Jaunty (amd64).
Pulse audio is not running (i hate it!) and im wondering how can i run it with debug so i can track down the problem.
Thanks! =D

If you turn "Shadows" in TF2 to "Low" that should fix the problem, but no promises.

Run a debug like

~/cxgames/bin/wine --verbose --debugmsg=+seh --cx-log notepad-(memorablename).log --cx-app NameOfProgram.exe

Of course, when it comes time to show off your log file, it would be nice if you didn't post it here and maybe instead sent in a support ticket (or emailed info@codeweavers.com) and attached the log file. This would ensure that nothing got lost from the cut and paste & keep the forums cleaner.

If/when you submit a ticket, please include a link to this forum thread!

You arent running any compositing managers ..are you?
If you do , compiz might still be the core cause even if it no longer renders full screen apps.

All the best , hope it goes well
